Crystal Palace winger Jordan Ayew is set to miss up to two months after undergoing surgery on his right knee.
The 22-year-old will be out for the start of the new season, which begins on March 10, with a scan on his knee.
But the winger, who is currently out of action for the first time in three months, has been praised for his efforts during the injury.
He wrote on Twitter: “Thanks to everyone who has been so kind to me and my family during this period.
