Posted October 14, 2018 12:11:37 I know it’s been a few years since I’ve been blogging, but there’s a lot to talk about when it comes to flowers.
While I’m certainly not a flower gardener, I’m sure you’ve noticed a spike in interest in the subject recently.
If you haven’t yet, consider it an opportunity to start learning how to grow, and make new friends.
And if you’re like me, you’ve been looking for the perfect bouquet for your new arrival, so grab a bouquet, a few flowers, and get busy.
I know I’ve spent hours and hours researching the perfect flowers for a new baby, and even more time trying to find the perfect blooms to bring to a new home.
Here are my top five favorite flowers for the first year of a new-born baby.#1.
Bluebells – bluebells are one of my favorite flowers to grow.
The color and texture of these delicate flowers is so beautiful, and you’ll have a hard time finding them anywhere else.
They can be found in lawns, lawnsides, flower beds, and more.
I’m glad I got to grow bluebell flowers before the bloom season, because I’m certain I’ll be able to grow more throughout the spring and summer.#2.
Lillies – Lillys are the other popular flower of the first few years.
Lilies are a versatile plant that grows all over, but especially in gardens.
Lilli’s beautiful white flowers make them perfect for blooming in early spring.
Lilly’s are also perfect for the blooming season, which usually starts around the beginning of October.#3.
Rosemary – Rosemary is one of the more common roses in the garden, but its so popular that its actually considered a culinary plant.
Rosemarmies flowers are so beautiful that I often take the time to find a bouquets and make my own.
For starters, I like to make a rosemary bouquet.
It will give you a beautiful, simple floral bouquet that you can hang in your kitchen.
I also like to use rosemary to make my flowers last longer.
Rose marys are a favorite for the summer, and are a great choice for the winter.#4.
Lavender – Lavender is a pretty, bright yellow plant that’s one of our favorite plants to grow and harvest.
Lavenders are one in a long line of perennials, so it’s not hard to find flowers for your first garden.
For the first couple of years, I also started growing lavender.
You can make your own lavender flowers by using your own rosemary.
Lavenders blooms are pretty, but I find that the fragrant, slightly fragrant lavender will do just fine.
Lavends flowers are easy to grow in containers, but you’ll need to keep your container closed at all times.#5.
Jasmine – Jasmine is a stunning and beautiful plant that makes a great accent to any garden.
Jasmines are also popular for flowers, but they tend to be a little more difficult to grow than rosemary and lavender, which can take up to three years to produce.
Once you’ve gotten the hang of growing your own, I would definitely recommend adding a few Jasmine blooms into your garden to help bring out the fragrance of your garden.
