The retailer has added its bitcoin wallet to its online store and is offering customers a way to pay for products with a debit card or cash.
As the largest online retailer in the United States, Wal-mart is an obvious choice for bitcoin users looking for quality products and fast delivery.
The online beauty product seller has been accepting bitcoin since December 2017.
The retailer said in a statement that customers can purchase products with their debit or credit cards, or with bitcoin by signing up for the retailer’s loyalty program.
Walmart’s partnership with bitcoin has been the first big step by a major retailer in accepting bitcoin.
The company has partnered with many online retailers including Amazon, Etsy, and the Wall Street Journal.
The partnership with Wal-Marts partnership with the cryptocurrency is also being seen as a sign of confidence among its consumers and a way for the company to make it easier for them to shop online.
The news comes as other major retailers are getting in on the digital currency craze.
The New York Times reported in January that Walmart is considering adding a virtual credit card that can allow customers to pay online.
